DPT Case Studies

Five interactive case studies — each a 45–60 minute walk-through with clinical reasoning, progressive disclosure, and cross-linked pharmacology and cardiorenal content. Used in Andy's lectures for the Clarke University DPT Program and the University of Dubuque PA (UDPA) Program.

Andrew Bland, MD, FACP, FAAP Clarke University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program (content cross-referenced in UDPA PA lectures)

How the cases work

Each case starts with a patient vignette and walks through the clinical reasoning a PT or PA clinician needs — physical exam findings, red flags, medication considerations, and escalation points. Reveal buttons gate the answers so you can think through the case before the reasoning is shown. Every case is cross-linked to the relevant PT handouts, lectures, and pharmacology modules.

These cases are currently hosted in the lecture library (2025_UDPA_Lectures_Live/cases/) and will continue to open from there — this page is the DPT/PA-scoped index.
